Who We Are

Founded in April 2019
Our mission is to promote professional, personal and social development of the youth, the Elderly and to support family unity in the community.

TAD (The Avenue for Development) is a non-profit organization created to improve lives through community education, advocacy, engagement, social development and funding..

We offer our support to different service providers and organizations through hands-on help, coordination, and education as we serve elderly, disadvantaged, and at-risk individuals, families, and communities.

Our Goals

TAD actively tackles the vital issues facing our community, through a variety of vocational, recreational and online communications programs. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of individuals and families throughout the communities that we serve.

TAD works with community agencies and other organizations to provide quality services and programs, including (Senior Services, Youth and Family Advocacy,Employment Services, Financial Literacy, etc…)

  • Senior Services
    Tamarac, USA

    To provide high-quality services throughout South Florida’s community of elderly and disabled persons. Whether you need help with care for yourself, a relative, or any individual for whom you have a responsibility, we are here to assist you. We take care of you in the privacy of your home, ensuring that all your personal needs are met in the best way possible. Our goal is to provide you with services that enable you to live in comfort and independence.

  • After Care program
    Tamarac, USA

    Children and staff have time to talk about society’s needs and skills for caring for one another. Areas covered include relating to others, teamwork, accepting diversity, non-violence, problem solving and mutual tolerance. Children will have the opportunity to participate in at least one site-specific project per year (i.e. toys for tots, food drives, cards for mobile meals recipients, etc.)

  • Youth and Family Advocacy

    In this program, the emphasis is placed on foster children, the appropriate use of social media, guidance to parents, caregivers dealing with institutions that care for youth. Support to youth and families include access to specialized services, such as educational interactive audio-visual programs.

  • Care Management
    Tamarac, USA

    Our Care Management program provides services using experienced and specially trained professionals, such as social workers and nurses. Individuals who benefit from care management are often in crisis or live alone with no family or support system nearby. Our clients may have multiple medical issues or are easily influenced or confused, often due to age or a physical, mental or developmental disability.

  • Civic Engagement

    In this program, clients receive instructions on employment application process, personal appearance, interview preparedness, and workplace protocol; resumes preparation, job search techniques and a comprehensive plan to achieve stated career goals.

  • Financial Literacy
    Tamarac, USA

    Our comprehensive financial security services include free tax preparation training, coaching assistance on resolving issues with the IRS and other financial institutions. We provide a series of workshops designed to enhance the skills needed to access commonly available financial products. Topics include Budget Management, Credit Cards, Mortgages, Loans and an understanding of various financial products. We provide training and counseling to help improve the client’s financial literacy. Our goal is to get the individual on the path to financial security.
